The project is located on National Highway No. 91C within Thanh Hue-Thanh My Resettlement Area Master Plan, Thuong Thanh ward, Cai Rang district, Can Tho City.

Project Scale:
Mekong River Delta University Urban Area has the total area of 30 ha, including:
• Mekong River Delta University: with the area of 5 ha, total investment capital of approximate VND300 billion including: Head Quarter, Sports House (3-storey building), Student Hostel (meeting demand of 20% of total students), Economic – Administration – Accounting Faculty, Science Faculty, Construction Faculty, Information and Technology Faculty (5-storey building). It is planned that in Quarter IV/2015, Mekong River Delta University will be officially put into operation and enrolls the first university course of about 3,000 students for phase 1 and 10,000 students for phase 2.

• Social Housing Area (10.7 ha)
• Expanded Thuong Thanh Residential Area (7 ha)
It is planned that Mekong River Delta University Urban Area will be completed for all components and put into operation.
